A meeting room with emotion?

At this year’s Flash On The Beach I sat in on Craig Swann’s late evening inspired session. I’ve seen Craig’s work before and was expecting great things from this master of Flash hacking and innovation, but what I saw this time truly has the potential to be life changing.

Craig took us through beer, rock and LSD to the research of Cleve Baxter who proved that plants can sense our intentions. No really. Watch this video!

If your jaw hasn’t fallen open yet then check out Dr. Masaru Emoto‘s research of how positive and negative energy can effect on water crystals.

I’m currently recreating an experiment myself where two identical jars of rice are left for a month, the only difference being that good thoughts are channeled at one and negative thoughts at the other. Apparently mould will only fester in one. There’s no sign yet, I’ll keep you posted.

Imagine though if we can have this much impact on our surroundings just through our intentions. If water is sensitive to energy and emotion, 60% of our body weight is water, so maybe we should be taking notice?

A while ago, at Redweb, I handed out tiny canvases to everyone and asked them to draw their idea of happiness. We now have 120 versions of happiness adorning the wall of one of our meeting rooms. Every time I try and use this room it’s fully booked. Every time I look through the window, people are smiling. Hmmm, I wonder?
